Cops probe Bellmore deliveryman robbery

Police are investigating the robbery of a Chinese food deliveryman Monday night in Bellmore, police said.

The deliveryman, 47, suffered a minor injury to his finger but was otherwise uninjured, Nassau County police said.

The robbery took place at 8:45 p.m. on Eastern Avenue.

Police said the deliveryman was approached by the suspect, a man of medium height and build, who displayed a handgun and demanded cash. The man was wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket and a bandanna, police said.
