Cops probe damaged Westbury menorah as bias incident
Third Squad detectives are investigating the intentional damaging of a wooden menorah in Westbury as a bias incident, Nassau County police said Monday.
A 4-foot by 4-foot wooden menorah at Carman Avenue Green, a park in the 800 block of Carman Avenue, was intentionally damaged sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning, police said in a news release.
