A woman robbed an East Meadow bank Sunday afternoon, making off with an unknown amount of money after showing a demand note to a teller, Nassau County police said.

The woman entered the TD Bank at 2549 Hempstead Tpke. about 12:10 p.m. and fled in a dark-colored car. Six employees and two customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery, police said.

Police ask anyone with information about the crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
