Police are looking for a gunman who ordered a driver out of his car Sunday at an Elmont deli and then drove away with the vehicle, Nassau police said.

In addition to stealing a 2004 Honda, the gunman also made off with a BlackBerry that was left in the vehicle, police said.

At about 10:20 p.m., the driver, 19, and his 17-year-old friend, also a male, drove to the Elmont Delicatessen at 237-01 Linden Blvd., police said.

The passenger went into the deli as the driver waited in the car. Police said an unknown man with a handgun then approached the car, ordered the driver to get out and drove away.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
