The robber, about 6 feet tall, 40 years old and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and baseball cap, entered Roslyn Savings Bank, 160 S. Main St., at 1:05 p.m. and handed a demand note to a teller, Nassau County police said.

After getting an undetermined amount of money, the robber fled out the rear door toward Bedell Street, police said.

One customer and four workers were in the bank at the time. No one was injured.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
