Cops probe Garden City crash that killed motorcyclist

Police are investigating an accident that killed a motorcyclist Wednesday in Garden City.
Darien Yohannan, 23, of Floral Park, died after crashing into a sport utility vehicle on Stewart Avenue near Roxbury Road at about noon, a Garden City police spokesman said Thursday.
Yohannan received his undergraduate degree from Adelphi University in 2012 and was enrolled there as a graduate student, a spokeswoman for the school said.
The university issued a statement, saying it was saddened to learn of Yohannan's death.
"Our thoughts are with his family at this time," the statement said.
The police spokesman said Nassau County's Third Squad is investigating the accident.
