A Hempstead woman discovered two bedroom windows damaged after hearing three gunshots early Friday morning in Hempstead Village, Nassau County police said.

The 54-year-old woman reported to police that she heard three shots while in her Ingraham Street home about 2 a.m. Friday.

The woman then found two bedroom windows had been damaged. No one was in the bedroom when the damage occurred, police said.

The case is being investigated as reckless endangerment.
