Fifth Squad detectives are looking for a bicycle-riding assailant who punched another man in the face and then stole his iPad Sunday in Valley Stream, Nassau County police said.

Detectives said an 18-year-old man was walking on North Central Avenue at about 12:08 a.m. when he was approached by a man, about 19 years old, riding a BMX bicycle.

The bike-riding man blocked his victim's path and then punched him in the face, breaking his nose, police said.

He took the victim's iPad and then rode off north on North Central Avenue, police said.

The injured man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
