Police are searching for a lone man who robbed a Levittown bank Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred at the Bank of America branch at 3161 Hempstead Tpke. The man entered the bank at 9:15 a.m., "presented a demand note to a teller" and fled through a back door with an undetermined amount of money, Nassau County police said in a news release.

Two customers and five workers were in the bank at the time. No one was injured.

Detectives urge anyone who knows something about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will be remain anonymous.
