Cops probe Levittown restaurant robbery
Detectives are investigating the Wednesday night robbery of a Levittown restaurant.
A man, about 6 feet tall and 190 pounds, entered the Asian Cafe, 176 Center Lane, at 9:25 p.m., walked behind the counter and demanded money from a worker, Nassau County police said in a Thursday news release.
When the 31-year-old male victim tried to stop the robber, "he was pushed away," police said.
The robber took an undetermined amount of money from the register and fled on foot, heading south on Center Lane, police said. There were no injuries.
