Cops probe manhole accident in Uniondale
Police and emergency personnel are responding to a 911 call reporting a person fallen into a manhole at a shopping center in Uniondale Tuesday.
Nassau County police said the situation is still developing — and said details were not immediately available.
The scene is at a ShopRite shopping center on Jerusalem Avenue, police said. Police said the incident was reported in a 911 call before 7 a.m.
