Cops probe Massapequa party store heist
Seventh Squad detectives are looking for a man who stole cash from a Massapequa party supply store Monday, Nassau County police said.
At about 3:10 p.m., a man walked into the Party City at 5500 Sunrise Hwy. and passed a threatening note to a 25-year-old female clerk and also demanded money out loud.
Police said the suspect then grabbed an unspecified amount of cash from the register and fled on foot. There were no injuries.
