A couple in their 70s were robbed by two men and a boy who they had allowed into their home for a drink of water Sunday in North Bellmore, police said.

The 76-year-old man and 73-year-old woman were not injured, Nassau County police said.

The trio stole $60 from the man's wallet before fleeing in a green or gray Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with Florida plates, police said.

Police said the incident occurred on Bennett Avenue at 4:10 p.m.

They said the three suspects came to the house and asked the victims for a drink of water. Once inside, they stole the cash from the man's wallet, police said.

Two of the suspects are believed to be in their 20s while the boy may be a young teen, police said. One wore black pants, a black shirt and a black baseball cap. Another was heavy set and wore plaid shorts, police said. The boy, believed to be about 13 years old, wore a Chicago Cubs jersey, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding to trio to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
