Cops probe pedestrian struck by car in East Hills
Third Squad detectives are investigating a crash that seriously injured a pedestrian Friday in East Hills, Nassau County police said.
The pedestrian, a 56-year-old Florida woman, was crossing Town Path Road, near Palm Court, at about 10 a.m. when she was struck by a 2011 Audi driven by a woman, 66, from Roslyn, police said.
The victim had severe head trauma and was taken by Nassau County Police Ambulance to a nearby hospital, police said.
Detectives said there is no apparent criminality associated with the accident.
