Cops probe robbery in Lawrence garage

Fourth Squad detectives are looking for a man who robbed a woman of cash and her car keys as she parked her car in an underground garage late Sunday in Lawrence, Nassau County police said.

A man in a black ski mask approached the woman's car and demanded jewelry and the car keys at about 11:35 p.m., police said. He then "forcefully removed" $47 from the victim's pockets and took her car keys from her coat pocket, a news release said.

No injuries were reported.
