Nassau polices are searching for information on a shooting in Roosevelt Saturday night that left two vehicles pockmarked with bullet holes.

No one was found injured at the scene on West Roosevelt Avenue, police said.

First Precinct officers responded to a report of gunfire on the street at 9:36 p.m. When they arrived, they found the vehicles empty.

The shots may have been fired from a black Nissan Maxima, detectives said. The Maxima was last seen heading west along West Roosevelt Avenue, a two-block-long street bounded by Nassau Road to the east and Brookside Avenue to the west.

Authorities said anyone with information about the incident may call them anonymously at 1-800-244-TIPS.
