Police are investigating a reckless endangerment case involving shots fired late Wednesday in North Bellmore.

Nassau County First Precinct police officers responded to an 11:52 p.m. "shots fired" call involving a male "riding a motorcycle that fled in a black auto, leaving the motorcycle behind," police said in a Thursday news release.

The officers found the motorcycle, a 2006 Suzuki Colt, and discovered a Ford Explorer parked in the street that had bullet holes in the wheel wells, police said.

There were no injuries.

Detectives urge anyone with information to anonymously call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
