Nassau police detectives are investigating gunshots fired late Tuesday after a dispute at a Baldwin restaurant.

First Precinct officers responded shortly after 11 p.m. to a disturbance "with shots fired" outside McDonald's restaurant at 1255 Grand Ave., Nassau County police said.

An investigation determined that about 10 unknown males were involved in a dispute in the restaurant, and "they were asked to exit the building and gunshots were then heard," police said in a news release.

A green sedan left the scene, and "the subjects were gone when police arrived," police said.

Police said they found "an unknown caliber bullet" in the parking lot.

There were no injuries.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to anonymously call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
