Cops probe Syosset bank robbery
Police are investigating the late Tuesday morning robbery of a Syosset bank.
Eleven workers and two customers were in the Bank of America at 378 Jericho Tpke. at 11:34 a.m. when the robber "presented a demand note to a teller" and made off with an undetermined amount of money, fleeing east through a parking lot toward Jackson Avenue, Nassau police said in a news release. No injuries were reported.
The robber was described as thin, in his 20s, 5-feet-6, "wearing a light-colored winter cap, dark-colored jacket and blue jeans," police said.
