Police are investigating an attack in Uniondale late Friday in which two teens walking along Front Street were jumped by a group of approximately 30 men who, police said, stabbed one of the teens and slashed the other.

The victims are aged 18 and 19, Nassau County police said.

One suffered a punctured lung and was admitted to an area hospital, police said. His condition was not known.

The other victim was slashed on the torso with a razor, police said. He was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

The motive for the attack was not immediately known.

Police said the incident occurred at 11:17 p.m. Friday.
