Cops probe Valley Stream nail salon robbery
Nassau County police are looking for a masked gunman who robbed a Valley Stream nail salon Monday.
Fourth Squad detectives said the suspect wore a blue bandanna over his face and pulled a gun when he robbed Tiffany's Nail & Spa Palace, 120 Rockaway Ave., at 6:50 p.m.
He demanded money from the register and a woman attendant, 42, complied, giving him an unspecified amount of cash.
The suspect then ran off in an unknown direction.
No one was injured, police said.
