Nassau Police arrested a Queens man Thursday for a burglary that happened two years ago in Elmont.

Police said on June 30, 2011, Christopher Diaz, 26, of 111-01 34th Ave., Corona, burglarized a home on Wellington Road.

According to police Diaz removed assorted jewelry, personal papers and credit cards from the home, which belongs to an unidentified 71-year-old woman.

An ongoing police investigation led to the arrest of Diaz on Thursday at his home. He was charged with second degree burglary and arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Friday.
