Cops release photos of robber suspect

Crime Stoppers and Nassau County police Monday released photographs of a suspect in a West Hempstead robbery.
The Fifth Precinct said the suspect and another man robbed a man and a woman who were walking east on Eagle Avenue near Taft Street at about 1:55 a.m. on Aug. 30.
"The subjects forcibly removed property from the victims," police said in a news release.
The suspect in the photographs wore a green and white jersey, police said. The second suspect wore a black T-shirt.
