Cops report multivehicle accident in Elmont
A vehicle fled the scene after a multivehicle accident in Elmont Wednesday night, Nassau police said.
The crash took place near the intersection of Hempstead Turnpike and Warwick Road sometime after 9:30 p.m., police said. No life-threatening injuries were reported, police said.
