Cops: Report of woman's abduction investigated in Locust Valley

Nassau County police were investigating a report Monday night that a woman had been abducted, possibly in connection with a dispute with a boyfriend, from 10th Street in Locust Valley.

Details of the case were unclear Monday night but police did confirm they were searching the area for a woman in the area covered by the Second Precinct.

Witnesses who live in the vicinity said police cars and a helicopter could be seen and heard around 9 p.m. last night.
