A Woodbury restaurant owner has been arrested on a sexual abuse charge, Nassau County police said Wednesday.

Tom Lam, 39, owner of Nisen Restaurant at 7967 Jericho Tpke., had sexual contact with the alleged victim in an office on Tuesday afternoon, detectives said.

"While the two were alone in the office Lam perpetrated forcible sexual contact with the victim," police said in a news release. "The victim was able to escape and notify the police."

Newsday does not identify the victims of sexual assault.

Lam, of of 13013 58th Rd., in Flushing, is scheduled to be arraigned on a first-degree sexual abuse charge at First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday.
