Cops: Road closure due to Long Island Music Hall of Fame ceremony

Vehicle access to a portion of Post Avenue in Westbury will be prohibited Thursday because of an induction ceremony for the Long Island Music Hall of Fame.
Nassau County police said beginning at 5 p.m. Post Avenue will be closed between Cross Street and Maple Avenue.
Police said there will be no access to Post Avenue from any side streets near The Space, 150 Post Ave., where the ceremony is being held.
Access is expected to be allowed around midnight, police said.
Access to streets near the facility will be allowed for local residents only, police said.
