Cops: Robbers accost man, flee in his car
First Squad detectives are looking for five men who stole another man's car Tuesday in Uniondale, Nassau County police said.
The five suspects accosted the victim, 47, in the 900 block of Front Street at about 3:45 p.m., police said.
One of the five was concealing a handgun and grabbed the victim by the arm, police said. Fearing for his safety, the victim ran east on Front Street, police said, but dropped his keys.
The suspects were seen in a black four-door sedan with New Jersey license plates and a black four-door Honda with Pennsylvania plates on Front Street, police said.
The same suspect who had grabbed the victim's arm also was seen driving west on Front Street in the victim's 2013 Dodge Avenger, police said. That vehicle has New York plates (FPR-9434).
