Cops: Rockville Centre bank robber sought

Nassau County police said they are looking for a man who robbed a Rockville Centre bank on Friday.
At about 2:15 p.m., police said the suspect entered the TD Bank at 290 Merrick Rd., took a bank slip from the counter, wrote a note and then proceeded to the teller.
The subject handed the teller a note stating he had a gun, police said.
The teller handed over an unspecified amount of cash and then fled eastbound across Merrick Road, police said.
Police said the man wore a blue hooded sweatshirt and a Toronto Blue Jays baseball cap.
Police on Monday released a photograph of the suspect taken from video surveillance at the bank.
