A Roslyn man twice burglarized a home on his own block in about a one-week span, Nassau County police said Tuesday.
Mark Edward Rubinstein, 21, of 8 Michael Court, entered a home on his street between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 27, removing "assorted jewelry and other property from the residence," police said in a news release.
During an investigation, police said, they determined Rubinstein "was responsible for an additional burglary at the same residence" about a week earlier.
Rubinstein was arrested early Monday and charged with three counts of second-degree burglary.
He was arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead and held pending $5,000 bail.
