Cops: School bus, truck collide in Merrick

A school bus and a truck collided early Thursday morning near the intersection of Sunrise Highway and Babylon Turnpike in Merrick, but police said no one was seriously injured -- and that no children were aboard the school bus.

The crash happened at 7:10 a.m., Nassau County police said. Police said the cause is being investigated.
