Police are searching for a burglar who entered an occupied residence earlier this month in Sea Cliff, stealing a wallet containing cash, a credit card and a bank card -- all while a woman slept nearby.

Nassau County police have surveillance photos of the suspect, an unidentified man, using the woman's cards to make unauthorized purchases at local stores. Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the suspect or the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.

All calls will remain confidential, police said.

Police said the break-in occurred at the residence on 8th Avenue on March 12, sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 7 a.m.

The suspect entered the home through a rear door, then proceeded to a second-floor bedroom -- stealing the Coach wallet while a 21-year-old woman slept. The woman was not harmed.
