Two masked gunmen robbed a 7-Eleven store in Elmont early Wednesday and also stole a wallet from one of the convenience store customers, Nassau County police said.

Robbery Squad detectives said the two men, wearing masks and dark clothes, entered the 7-Eleven at 254 Elmont Rd. at about 1:25 a.m.

They demanded money, and then one of the men walked around the counter, pushed the cashier out of the way and took an unknown amount of cash from the register.

The second gunman ordered the store's five customers to the floor and took a wallet from the pocket of a 23-year-old man, police said. No injuries were reported.

The two gunman fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
