First squad detectives are looking for two armed bandits in masks who robbed a man and woman in their Uniondale driveway Sunday morning, Nassau County police said.

Around 4:55 a.m., the man and woman were getting out of their vehicle in their driveway on Locust Avenue when they were approached by two men with handguns, police said.

The two men reached into the victims' vehicle and took a tote bag with an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled on foot, traveling north on Locust, then east on Coakley Street, police said.

No one was injured, police said.

Police do not believe the incident is related to a spree of driveway purse snatchings.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers, 800-244-8477. All callers will remain anonymous.
