Nassau County police said they are looking for six bicycle-riding suspects who robbed another man at knifepoint early Monday in Inwood.

Police said in a news release one of the suspects pulled a knife and another waved a white metal bat as they robbed a man walking on Doughty Boulevard of an undisclosed amount of cash and his cellphone at 5:25 a.m., police said.

One man on a bicycle approached the victim and pulled a knife, police said. Then five more bike-riding assailants approached the victim, with one of them waving a white metal bat, police said.

After the victim complied, the men rode north on Doughty Boulevard with an unspecified amount of cash and a cellphone, police said. There were no injuries reported.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
