Cops seek burglar who jumped from window

Detectives are investigating a burglary Tuesday afternoon in which a man was seen jumping from a second-story window of an apartment in Great Neck, and fleeing with a noticeable limp, Nassau County Police said.

The man - described as 6 foot 1, blond, with a goatee and wearing a black shirt and shorts and carrying a black backpack - pried open the door to an apartment on Welwyn Road, police said. Nothing was reported taken in the 3 p.m. burglary, police said.
