An Oceanside bank was robbed Wednesday by a man who handed a teller a note demanding money, police said.

The Roslyn Savings Bank at 3140 Long Beach Rd. was robbed at 12:30 p.m., police said. There were no reported injuries.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the robber fled the bank and was seen heading on foot westbound on Perkins Avenue, police said.

He was described as in his 30s, 5-foot, 5 inches tall, wearing a white checkered long-sleeved shirt, dark baseball cap, dark baggy pants and sunglasses.
