Police are investigating a gunpoint robbery Monday night in Great Neck pulled off by two masked men.

The 22-year-old male victim was walking east on Clair Street near Tobin Avenue at 10:35 p.m. when he was approached by the two suspects, Nassau County police said Tuesday in a news release.

"After pointing the gun at the victim's neck, the subject took a bag from the victim that contained clothing and his wallet," police said in the release. "The second subject, who was wearing a black baseball hat, then took the victim's cellphone from his hand."

The suspects told the victim to keep walking, and the suspects fled west on Clair Street.

Detectives urge anyone with information about the robbery to anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
