Cops seek pair who robbed Garden City bank

Detectives are seeking information on a man in a black Boston Celtics jacket and a woman wearing a black Yankees baseball cap who robbed the TD Bank in Garden City on Wednesday evening, Nassau County Police said.

The pair entered the bank at 855 Franklin Ave. at 7:05 p.m., demanded cash from the teller and fled on foot after getting an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

The woman is described as between 30 and 40 years of age, 5-foot-5 and wearing black pants and a white hooded sweat jacket. The man is described as 5-foot-9, wearing jeans and a black knit cap.
