Third Squad detectives are looking for two men who robbed a party supply store at gunpoint early Monday in New Hyde Park, Nassau police said.

A store employee, 45, working at Party City at 2317 New Hyde Park Rd., heard a bell ring at the receiving entrance at 7:06 a.m., according to police.

When the employee answered the door, he was confronted by two men, one of whom was armed with a black handgun.

The two men forced the victim into a room where a second store employee, a 50-year-old man, was doing paperwork, police said.

The two suspects demanded that the employees open the safe, and the employees complied. The men took an undetermined amount of cash and fled using a side door, police said.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers, 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
