Cops seek suspect in inappropriate-contact case

Nassau County Crime Stoppers and the Eighth Squad are looking for a man who inappropriately touched a 16-year-old girl's foot at a South Farmingdale park on Monday, police said.
Police released a photograph of the man suspected of endangering the welfare of a minor by touching the girl's foot as she was in the park with a 17-year-old friend, also a girl, police said.
The photograph of the suspect released on Wednesday came from the victim's cellphone camera, police said.
The incident occurred at about 2 p.m. in Lincoln Park on Lincoln Street, police said.
"The subject touched the victim's foot with his hands inappropriately, and later grabbed the victim's feet as she was attempting to leave causing her to lose her balance," according to the release.
The suspect then left in a tan Toyota Camry with New York plates, driving east on Lincoln Street.
Police said the suspect is in his mid-20s to early 30s and is about 6 feet tall. He also may go by the name of Carlos.
