Cops seek suspect in Mineola bank theft

Crime Stoppers and Nassau County police said Tuesday they are looking for a woman who cashed a bad check worth more $3,700 at a Mineola bank in August.
Police released a photograph of the suspect, a woman, taken from video surveillance at the Bank of America at 227 Mineola Blvd. The suspect "fraudulently cashed" a check for $3,726.35 at about 10 a.m. on Aug. 24, police said.
