First Squad detectives are trying to determine who fired gunshots that ended up hitting a home in Freeport Friday night, Nassau County police said.

At about 6 p.m., Freeport police responded to a call from a home on Lillian Avenue of gunshots fired.

Residents of the home, a 47-year-old woman and her 18-year-old son, heard the shots and called police. An investigation revealed two bullets struck the home's exterior siding and another hit a window in the front of the house, police said.

There were no injuries.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers, 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
