Nassau County police said Monday they are looking for three men who robbed and assaulted a man in Rockville Centre.
Crime Stoppers and the First Precinct released photographs Monday of one of the suspects, who after the incident tried to use a credit card stolen from the victim, police said.
At about 2 a.m. on July 30, a man walking near North Village Avenue was approached by three men, police said in a news release.
One man punched the victim, knocking him to the ground. Then the victim was kicked and punched, sustaining a cut to his nose, contusions to his head and bruises on his back and arm.
One of the attackers took the victim's wallet, and then all three left the scene, police said.
About an hour after the attack, the suspect in the photograph used the victim's credit card and forged his signature to buy liquor at a nearby liquor store, police said.
Police also said an "attempt to use the card was made at a CVS location" in Rockville Centre.
All three off the attackers are 6 feet tall and in their early 20s, police said.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers, 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
