A Bronx man faces a felony drunken driving charge after being stopped for speeding Saturday morning on the Southern State Parkway in Valley Stream, State Police said Monday.

Noel Martinez, 24, of 1349 Stratford Ave., was driving his black Infinity 78 mph in a 55 mph zone, police said, east on the parkway at about 5:40 a.m. near Exit 14, Fletcher Avenue.

Troopers said Martinez failed sobriety tests and produced a breath-analyzer reading of .12 percent.

Martinez was charged with driving while intoxicated, a felony charge because of a previous conviction within the past 10 years, police said. He also was charged with several traffic violations, including driving without insurance and a suspended registration, police said.

Arraignment information was not immediately available.
