The manager of a Manhasset Dunkin' Donuts store was arrested Thursday and charged with stealing more than $13,000 in store proceeds, police said.
Raveenthran Priyatharsan, 30, of 34 Ronni Dr., East Meadow, was charged with third-degree grand larceny, Nassau County police said.
Police said the thefts were uncovered when the store owner, 49, whose identity was not released, was reviewing business banking records -- and discovered more than $10,500 in deposits had not been made.
The owner then confronted Priyatharsan, police said, who "admitted taking the money." The owner then discovered Priyatharsan had previously stolen $2,949, police said.
Priyatharsan is scheduled for arraignment Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.
