Cops: Suspect wanted for credit card theft

Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in connection with a grand larceny which occurred in East Garden City at the Nordstrom department store in Roosevelt Field mall between Oct. 25, 2011, at about 9:45 a.m., and Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at 6:45 p.m., police said. Crime Stoppers and Nassau County police on Monday released a photograph of a suspect wanted for using stolen credit cards to buy merchandise at the Roosevelt Field mall in October.
Police said that the suspect likely stole a wallet between Oct. 25 and Oct. 26 and then shortly after used a credit card from the wallet for a purchase at the Nordstrom store in the East Garden City mall.
