A Bronx man in jail on charges he broke into apartments in Nassau County was arrested in a Long Beach burglary, Long Beach police said Wednesday.

Morris Santaniello, 60, of 2477 Belmont Ave., who was arraigned April 12 at Nassau County First District Court in Hempstead on four counts of felony burglary, was charged Wednesday by Long Beach police in an another burglary.

Long Beach police said Santaniello was seen on surveillance video burglarizing a Shore Road building on March 13.

Long Beach detectives posted fliers with photographs of the suspect and also became aware that Nassau County's Third Squad and New York State parole officers were looking for Santaniello.

Nassau police arrested him April 11 in the theft of jewelry from four apartments in Mineola from Jan. 8 to Feb. 19.

Long Beach police arrested Santaniello Wednesday. He was scheduled to be arraigned on a charge of second-degree burglary later Wednesday at Long Beach City Court.
