Cops: Teen brought knife to charter school
Roosevelt Children's Academy Charter School officials contacted authorities Monday to report that a 13-year-old boy had brought a knife to the school, Nassau police said.
Officers responded to the K-8 charter school at its 105 Pleasant Ave. location about 3 p.m., police said.
There were no arrests, police said. No one was injured and no one was threatened, police said.
Officials of the school did not respond to requests for comment.
