Two men and a teenage girl were arrested Monday and charged with robbing a man of his Air Jordans and other items in a Hicksville parking lot, Nassau County police said.

A 21-year-old man was conversing with the three in the rear parking lot at 20 West Village Green, when at 6:34 p.m. one of the men, Alex Mercado-Silva, 24, of Massapequa, showed a black pistol and "demanded" the man's Air Jordan sneakers, police said. Jarrell Smith, 20, of Massapequa, took cash and a cellphone from the victim's pockets, police said.

Mercado-Silva, Smith and Teresa Montagnino, 16, of South Farmingdale, then departed in a 1999 Chrysler Sebring, police said. Officers located them at a Shell Gas Station on Jerusalem Avenue in Wantagh, and found the handgun in the vehicle, police said.

All three were charged with first- and second-degree robbery, with Mercado-Silva also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree criminal use of a firearm.

Arraignment was scheduled for Tuesday at First District Court, Hempstead.
